Glee!: Bieber Fever

Note: In the TV programme, Dustin Bleiber's character is played by Justin Bleiber himself. I Glee, they are two seperate identities.

The holidays had been great. Rachel and Finn had spent the summer practicing new routine ideas for Glee club. Finn had only agreed to waste his summer if he was promised some ‘action’ after practise. Summer was over now and Rachel couldn’t wait to get back to Glee.

Slowly the McKinley High Glee room began to fill. Rachel and Finn were there first, of course. Kurt and Mercedes followed. Artie, Quinn, Puck with the rest, finally finished the 12 strong. So why were there 13 in the room?

Rachel examined the new boy. He looked so familiar and had it not been for his hair, she probably wouldn’t have noticed him in the first place.

“Excuse me? Are you lost? You obviously have the wrong room. I’m Rachel Berry, and as the Co-captain of Glee club, I feel it is my personal responsibility to find out what you are doing here?” Her questioning was always innocent enough, but she couldn't help but come across as a, well, you-know-what. Before the fresh face could reply, they were interrupted by a voice they all recognised.

“Welcome back from Summer everybody! I trust you all had a good break,” said Mr Schu. “Before we begin, I would like to announce that we have an addition to New Directions! Dustin, I’ll let you introduce yourself.”

Before Mr Schu had even begun to take a seat, the new kid was up in front of the club. With confidence he told them, “You have three questions, ask away.”

Almost instantaneously, the first question went to Britany. “I like your hair.”

“Thanks,” he replied, “I’m going to include that as a question and before you waste another, yes it’s real.”

They thought carefully after that. “Who are you?” tried Rachel.

“My name is Dustin Blieber. I come from Canada. I have two dogs and I like Ice-cream”

“I like Ice-cream” said Brittany. Although this time she went unnoticed.

“You look like you’re like 12, dude. What are you doing in Glee?” posed Puck.

“I’ll consider that a compliment to my youthful complexity,” Blieber started, “I’m here because Mr Schu invited me to be here. He found me on youtube over summer and he thought I would be a valuable asset to your club.”

“So what? You just moved schools and thought you could join Glee club because Mr Schu asked?” cried Quinn.

“Sorry sugar, your 3 questions are up.” finished Blieber.

With that, Will Schuster was back in front of the class. “Thanks for that Dustin, I’m sure everyone will do there best to make you feel comfortable.” threatened Mr Schu.

Almost like clockwork, it was time for Rachel to chime in her two cents. “But Mr Schu,” she objected, “I find it highly alarming that you did not consult with me over a matter so dramatic to the future of the club. Finn and I have been slaving away over new routines for twelve people, not thirteen. We simply do not have the time, or space, to allow this ‘12 year old’ into our crew. I mean, can he even sing?”

And with that, it was Dustin Blieber’s time to shine. With one harmonic line, “Ohwhoahoahoa,” the girls had the fever. Blieber fever. “You know you love me, you know you care…” Even Rachel was swooning for him. “…and I’m like baby, baby, baby oh…”

When the performance was over, the room was silent. Not one of them had quite expected that. Kurt finally broke the silence. “Your voice is the gift of an angel” he smiled.

“My parents are out for the night. Let me know if you want to come over?” flirted Santana.

“Let me take another look at those routines. I’m sure you’re going to fit in just fine,” said Rachel.

The girls (plus Kurt) were all head over heels in love with him.

“Nicely done, Dustin! That, ladies and gentlemen, is what showchoir is all about!” raved Mr Schu. “After Dust’s wonderful rendition, I think it’s only fitting that this weeks musical theme is Justin Bieber! Let’s see if you guys can top the newbie’s performance by friday.” he announced.

Dustin was happy the girls had accepted him into New Directions almost straight away. Nailing a Justin Bieber song was a no brainer to him. He doubted anyone would top him by the end of the week. Though in the back of his mind, he couldn’t’ help thinking it was happening again. What if they were to look past his voice and realise how much of a fraud he was? Dustin’s ‘too-cool-for-school’ image made his ability to show anything but confidence virtually impossible. It was both a blessing and a curse. It had taken him a while to realise, but in the corner of the room, the boys just sat, motionless to all the commotion.

The boys sat in exasperation. They didn’t know this new kid, but the look on their faces said they sure as hell were going to get rid of him. They didn’t quite know how, but one thing was for sure. If they were going to win their girls back, things would have to start getting ugly…

The three students in blue school uniforms separated after a farewell to each other. The sunset was covering the town of Ikebukuro with its yellow streams of light. After the farewell, Mikado, one of the three students, slowly made his way home by crossing the traffic. He sighed for once before crossing the road. The movement of his legs were somehow exhausted.

While walking, he thought of his friends who he just said goodbye. Masaomi, the brightest one out of them was noisy as always. Mikado tried to persuade him again from going out to Ikebukuro Park to search for some girls to date with. When Mikado first saw Masaomi doing that, he didn’t have a clue how to stop him, but now, after 6 months of attending the same school as him, Mikado was surely used to it. It was like an everyday life and this made him realize how frightening familiarity could be.

Anri, the only girl was the one who Mikado secretly fell in love. Even though Mikado thinks that it is ‘secret’, everyone in Raira High School seemed to know about their ‘secret love’. And it is only Mikado and Anri themselves didn’t realize about their awkward relationship.

The main Sunshine road of Ikebukuro was busy and filled up with people especially during the afternoon. As dodging the crowd and making his way, Mikado thought of the cute smile Anri made when Mikado and Masaomi were talking about their childhood. The two boys knew each other when they were very young, and because Anri is a new member of their ‘circle’, she seemed to enjoy listening to Mikado and Masaomi’s past and childhood episodes.

Mikado was sure that he felt happy when Anri smiled. Yes. That was for sure. But along with the happiness, he felt a hint of jealousy blazing up at the corner of his heart. At first, he couldn’t discover the reason why, and how he had the kind of feeling, but…

“Masaomi…”

Now he understood.

He legs stopped. He couldn’t move it as if he got paralyzed by something. People who were walking behind him bumped into him shouting rude words at him, but he couldn’t hear them. They even said it straight at his face walking past but he was unable to hear their voices. Inside of him, there was a tornado of percussion and agony. He did not know what to do so he came up with a decision not to do anything.

Mikado has no idea how Masaomi and Anri could be thinking about each other. The feeling that they felt when Mikado wasn’t around. He was sure that Masaomi is currently attracted to her because he asked her out officially when three of them were on the way home together. Although he said it in a tone in just for joking around, and there were no seriousness in him, no one knows the truth of what Masaomi really thinks about her.

The most fact that Mikado is concerned about is Anri’s feelings towards Masaomi. Anri is a kind of girl who does not express her thoughts to anyone. She seemed to have no experience of loving another person, but the only moment she smiles and expresses her happiness is when Mikado and Masaomi are around.

But that fact was what Mikado was most concerned about.

Not knowing what Anri is thinking towards Masaomi, but neither Mikado himself. That was the most painful agony.

“…”

He stood there not moving an inch looking down at his feet. It was like an enormous amount of information swarming about inside Mikado’s head. He couldn’t admit the possibility of Masaomi and Anri getting together.

But the most thing that he could not admit was Mikado himself thinking about that possibility.

“Oi! What are you doing in the middle of the path?”

When Mikado came up with that conclusion, he was disturbed by someone shouting right in front of him. A familiar voice. A voice which Mikado hear every day now.

“Are you okay? You look a bit pale.”

“Masaomi.” murmured Mikado with a surprised look on his face as he faced the person in front of him.

His very oldest friend who he knew when he was a child.

“I came back looking for you. I don’t like talking serious stuff, but somehow I thought you weren’t feeling well today. I was concerned so I couldn’t go back home. Is something wrong?” explained Masaomi looking at Mikado with a worried face.

Mikado didn’t say anything. For a moment, he closed his eyes and took a deep sigh. He looked up at Masaomi and smiled almost alike to the smile that Anri made before, but more happily.

“Nothing Masaomi. Nothing was wrong except for me.” said Mikado.

Masaomi was curious at first when he saw Mikado’s smile, but he instantly smiled along with him. Somehow, he was relieved that he came back to Mikado.

“Wanna go search for pretty girls in Ikebukuro Park today?” said Masaomi with a delightful laugh.

“Masaomi!” shouted Mikado angrily, but his face looked happy and relieved as well.

The two boys in blue school uniform walked down the crowded Sunshine road in Ikebukuro. The town was starting to get dark but the two of them did not care. Mikado and Masaomi were sure that their friendship will have no end, and even when misery comes to both, the two boys will be there for each other.

COMPLICATED LOVE
Authors note: This fan-fic is from the show Home and Away. It takes place with the characters of Summer Bay; Ruby, Romeo and Indi. One night, one mistake, will change the lives of these three forever.

This is my first attempt at anything for this show. So that being said, this is a one-shot.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or storylines of home and away.

I woke up to the alarm ringing on the side of the drawer, 7:30 kept blinking as I reached over to hit the snooze button. I wish the world could stop now; everything just seemed perfect lying in Romeo’s arms. Last night was magical; it was a night that I will never forget.

Romeo woke up suddenly and realized what the time was;

“I’m late. I’ve got to go Rub’s”.

“But I was just going to go and make us breakfast?” I got up and wrapped my arms around his body whilst trying to pull him back into bed.

“Let me go Rub’s, I really have to go,” the stern look on his face worried me, as I let him go I thought that he felt the same way. He quickly found his clothes and ran out of the room.

“Call me,” I echoed as the door slammed shut. The house drew to a silence as I got up and walked out into the living room, a vibrating sound came from the phone on the coffee table: 5 missed calls-Indi. I wondered why she called; Romeo did say last night they were breaking up. I pushed the playback message;

“Hey it’s me. I’m just calling to see where you are, but I guess you’re thinking things over. Call me when you get this I love you.”

The words ‘I love you’ seemed to playback in my mind while I was trying to figure out what it all meant. I knew that Romeo was going to be with me, or else last night wouldn’t have happened. I knew I had to see Romeo.

Romeo walked in through the door to the smell of bacon and eggs.

“Good morning; how was your night?” Nicole asked.

“Yeah it was good.”

The thoughts kept running through my head like a never ending song.

“Just good, c’mon Romeo you have to give me more than that” I couldn’t tell her what I had done. It was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened.

“What’s with the questions?” my abrupt answer seemed to sink into her as she stopped asking and carried on towards the stove.

Lying to her was the worst feeling and it was going to be more difficult to tell Indi. As I walked up the stairs I wondered how I was going to tell her. I knew I had to tell her because what kind of guy would I be if I didn’t, she deserved that.

“Hello… is anyone home” Indi knocked on the door letting her in.

“I’m in the kitchen,” Nicole shouted from the kitchen

“Oh hey, um is Romeo here”?

“Yeah, he’s upstairs, Romeo! Indi’s here,”

I couldn’t get down fast enough, she was here and I was going to tell her. I walked out to Indi and Nicole laughing.

“Hey, what are you doing here?”

She gazed at me with her smile

“I came to see you. You didn’t call or text back so I wanted to see if you were alright“

“Yeah, my battery died and I thought you needed space”. I looked at Nicole who pierced me with her eyes. She knew I was lying because the look of guilt covered my face and I knew she had figured out where I was.

“Why didn't you answer your phone? I rang you like five times”.

“Well about that, I was with…” her phone rang and she signaled her hand to my face.

“It’s dad, I’ll just be a sec,”.

The agony of having to tell her was breaking me and I couldn’t go through it.

“Romeo, are you home?”

I turned to the door and saw Ruby. She couldn't be here, not now. Indi was just outside.

“What are you doing here?”

“You left your phone at mine’s last night and well I missed you,” My arms wrapped around him

“Last night was perfect and I know you need to tell Indi so I thought we could tell her together,”

“Tell me what?” Indi asked as she came around the corner, she had heard everything.

“Tell me what Romeo?" Her eyes swelling up with tears

“It was just one night Indi. I was upset that we were going to breakup and…”

“You slept with her?”

“It just happened, it didn’t mean anything,” I tried to grasp her hand but she pushed me back

“Don’t touch me Romeo”

“Indi I’m sorry,” as I stepped closer to her my tears were swelling up in my eyes.

“Don’t,” the force of her power pushed me back like a gust of wind as she ran out.

“Just leave her, she’ll come around,” Ruby answered trying to get my attention

“What are you still doing here?” I felt helpless and Ruby being there made me angrier at myself.

“No one forced you Romeo,” she replied.

“Just go,” I shouted. The tone of my voice startled her as she turned to leave.

“I hate you. You used me Romeo, this isn’t over,” she shouted with tears rolling down her face.

How could I have been so stupid. The words ’I hate you’ seemed to resonate slowly through my mind. I hated what I had done to Indi and I realized I had gotten myself into the unknown. I pulled the chair out from the table and sunk into the misery that was forming within. This was one situation I couldn’t fix.

How I Met Your Mother: Robins birthday

Hey Kids, this is the story of how I realised I was still in love with Robin. Again. It was the year 2011, and it was your Aunt Robins birthday. We had organised a surprise birthday party at your Uncle Marshall and I's flat. But there was an unexpected turn and all didn’t go to plan.

''Hey Barney, I was thinking of a really awesome streamer theme for Robins party tonight,'' Ted said while holding up two different streamers in the isle of Party Land.

''Streamer theme! The only streaming Ill be doing is late night after hours,'' mocked Barney raising his hand for a high five.

Ted ignoring Barney's comment, still holding up the tissue paper, ''But really Barney, pink or yellow? I was thinking pink but...''

''Whoa whoa whoa! Dude you're starting to sound like a stressed brides maid, speaking of girls in hot dresses check out those hotties, 6 o'clock, I'd make them my maids,” Barney said directing Ted's attention to two girls in the cards section of the store.

“Yeah, they’re nice,” said Ted, barely looking at the two girls standing there, “but seriously Barney, pink or yellow.”

“Why do you care so much anyway?” Barney said questioning Ted’s intentions. “Wait a minute, you just wait a goddamn minute Ted Moseby. You still have feelings for Ro...... wait for it.”

“I know you're gonna say Robin,” said Ted waiting for the inevitable phrase.

“Bin! Robin!” Barney said, finally concluding his sentence.

“What, no way,” said Ted, his voice breaking under pressure and smirking brightly,” I'm not in love with Robin.”

“Love? Who said anything about 'Love'” Barney sniggered leaving the isle and heading to the checkout.
“Love? I never said love,” Ted said, approaching the counter.

“Yes you did.”

“No I didn’t.”

“Sure you didn’t,” winked Barney as they left the store heading back to the apartment.

Marshall and Lily were in the kitchen preparing some cupcakes as Barney and Ted walked through the door, Barney singing at the top of his voice, “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a golden garage.”

“Did you just say golden garage,” said Marshall poking his head out from the kitchen door “don’t you mean 'baby carriage'?”

“Baby carriage? Why would I mean baby carriage, golden garage is so much more awesome.”

“Come on Marshall get your head out of your ass,” said Barney rolling his eyes.

“Marriage, who’s getting married?” Lily said coming into the living room.

“Ted?! emotionally married to Robin,” Barney burst out.

“Really, not again Ted. When are you gonna get over this? Robins happy now,” Lily said exasperated.

“OK guys I'm going to assign each of you jobs, now Lily and Marshall your on cakes. Barney you handle the music and I will sort out the decorations and the punch,” said Ted.

“But what?'' argued Barney.

“No,” replied Ted, ''you know what happened last time I left you in charge of the punch.”

Ted thought back to the last time Barney handled the alcohol, it was a complete mess. He had 'accidentally' forgotten to bring any mixers and had 'forgotten' to supply any glasses except for shot glasses. This resulted in a night of slurred words and memory loss. It doesn’t sound to bad you might say? Well what I didn’t tell you was how a goat ended up in the bathroom of our apartment, but that’s a completely different story.

As time drew closer to 7:30pm and the group got more restless, each one of them loved surprise parties and couldn’t wait for Robin to arrive. Marshall and Lily had their cupcakes nicely decorated and ready, Barney had sorted the music and Ted was double checking the decorations, that was when she walked in.

“SURPRISE!!!!!!!!” Everybody screamed.

Robin who was only half way through the door had a shocked look on her face. She turned around and to everybody's surprise she had a friend with her.. a male friend.

Ted stared in horror, he knew he couldn’t react. He knew that he would just have to keep his feelings inside and let Robin be happy. Besides its her birthday. He put a smile on his face and gave Robin a big hug.

“Whoa you guys! I never expected this, Lily good work for keeping this a secret. I know It must have been hard for you, knowing you can’t keep secrets and all” laughed Robin.

“Yeah well they only told me two hours before the party and hid my cell phone, which made it pretty hard to spill this one,” Lily smiled cheekily.

“So peeps, I’d like you to all meet my date,” beamed Robin. “This is Rob.”

How I Met Your Mother: Robins birthday – Draft 2

''Yeah Ted you really are stressing about this, its making me think you really do have feelings for Robin again. This ain’t good.'' said Lily.

''Yeah dude, can you keep it to yourself just for this evening?'' added Marshall, ''We don’t want any dramas tonight''.

As time drew closer to 7:30pm and the group got more restless, each one of them loved surprise parties and couldn’t wait for Robin to arrive. Marshall and Lily had their cupcakes on trays decorated with a different letter on them to spell out Robins name ‘Robin Scherbatsky’ which incidentally was very long so it gave way to the fact the everybody would want more than one. Barney had a cheeky look on his face which suggested that his song collection may be an interesting one, and Ted had all the decorations ready and was fixing his hair (for the twentieth time). Ted looked up to double check that the drinks were in order and that was when she walked in.

“SURPRISE!!!!!!!!” Everybody screamed.

Robin who was only half way through the door had a shocked look on her face. She turned around and to everybody surprise she had a friend with her.. a male friend.

Ted stared in horror, he knew he couldn’t react. He put a fake smile on and gave Robin a huge hug. ‘’Whoa you guys! I never expected this, Lily good work for keeping this a secret I know It must have been hard for you, knowing you can’t keep secrets and all’’ laughed Robin.

“Yeah well they only told me 2 hours before the party and hid my cell phone, which made it pretty hard to spill this one’’ Lily smiled cheekily.
